A New Look for KCL Mobile, the Free Foodservice App
Have you the new look and feel of KCL Mobile, our free foodservice app? Our update ensures that you can continue to access critical foodservice design content, like symbols, manuals, and PDF cutsheets, and email that information when you’re in the field. Now you can do this faster than before.
Search Faster From Your Phone or Tablet
It’s still easy to search by the foodservice manufacturer, category, model, or the term of your choice, but now the tabs are labeled with icons instead of words.
You’ll also notice that we’ve updated the Adobe (PDF), AutoCAD and Revit icons to match how those companies represent themselves. We also have a new utility data icon and an updated version of the blue ENERGY STAR mark.
Speaking of which, you can also filter searches by based on the type of content you’re looking for:
- ENERGY STAR,
- PDF,
- 3D,
- Revit,
- AutoCAD, or
- details.
In fact, KCL Mobile now has a cleaner detail page. Instead of scrolling down for external resources or the supporting brand or product information in doc links, we placed the tabs higher on the page for greater visibility. You no longer need to scroll to the bottom of the listing to find this information, which may include links to product videos, warranty information, repair and service information, and other items.
Your MASFI Rep Is Just A Click Away
When it comes to specifying foodservice equipment during your design process, it’s useful to have a responsive and knowledgeable rep. KCL’s MAFSI Rep Connect makes it easy to find your (U.S.-based) foodservice equipment rep. On the manufacturer screen, just click the blue information circle, enter your zip code and let KCL Mobile do the rest.
Your rep will also show up when you click on a specific equipment model. And when you’re looking at a model, simply tap on the image (PDF, CAD, or Revit symbol) to email it. You may also be able to view items and send them to KCL NapkinSketch, if you use KCL Mobile on a tablet.
Favorites remain the same. “Star” the manufacturers you use most often and they’ll appear at the top of your list.
